Eden for Life Preparatory School is a new program by Eden Association, developed in partnership with the Yated Program and the National Insurance Institute Funds. It provides support to young women coping with post-traumatic stress and/or lacking a stable family support network as they enter adult life and the workforce.
This year-long program begins with an intensive two-month residential phase at the program’s campus in Kibbutz Dorot in the Negev. Participants then receive ongoing support as they enter the workforce and transition to independent living.
The program offers a comprehensive range of resources designed to give young women a genuine opportunity to secure meaningful, high-quality employment. These include DBT skills training; identifying personal and gender-related barriers; vocational assessment; a course in digital and AI literacy; support in accessing rights and benefits; financial literacy; a professional certificate in graphic design; and an individualized development plan addressing emotional, social, and vocational growth in preparation for independent adult life.
As in Eden Association’s other programs, the Eden Model equips participants with critical-thinking abilities and practical personal skills to help them overcome challenges arising from trauma and difficult life experiences.
The fifth cohort begins in September 2026.

Join Eden Association’s preparatory program – a training program designed to support your successful integration into the workforce and help you build a personal and professional plan for the future.
What does the program include?
- Accommodation at Kibbutz Dorot in the Negev for two months: Three young women share a comfortable, spacious room with a private bathroom and shower. Living expenses are included.
- Workplace skills: How can I cope with pressure at work? How can I work successfully as part of a team? How can I stand up for myself? You will learn how to navigate challenges in the workplace.
- Career guidance: What am I good at? What kind of work will give me a sense of purpose? How can I find that kind of job—and advance in it?
- Professional training: A combination of theoretical study and practical experience, leading to a professional qualification.
- Job placement and coaching: How do I write a compelling résumé? How can I succeed in a job interview? You will receive help finding a job and ongoing support during your first months at work.
Preparing for the future of work: How do I learn a new task? How can I manage everything I need to do? You will gain digital tools and skills for a rapidly changing workplace.
Life skills: How do I access all the rights and benefits available to me? How do I manage my money responsibly? How do I rent an apartment? You will learn how to live independently and navigate adult life.
Is the program right for me?
- The program may be right for you if you:
- Are between the ages of 19 and 25 and feel that you need direction to move forward.
- Are ready to commit to a year-long program, including two months of residence at Kibbutz Dorot in the Negev.
- Are willing to learn, invest, and commit to a personal process in order to gain practical tools and skills.
- Feel that you need guidance and a supportive environment as you transition into adult life.
