Accessibility Statement
Introduction
Eden Association – The Association for the Advancement of Educational, Social, and Cultural Projects in Northern Negev – is committed to promoting accessibility to ensure that people with disabilities and special needs have comfortable access to and use of the services we offer. We strive to ensure convenient access for all our clients at service and sales points, on our website, and through our telephone service centers.
Approximately fifteen percent of Israel's population faces difficulties accessing the internet, including individuals with visual impairments, hearing impairments, motor disabilities, seniors, and others.
To ensure professional and inclusive service, we have implemented the necessary adjustments to our website in accordance with accessibility guidelines as defined by Israeli standards and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 2013 (Section C: Internet Services). Our website complies with Israeli Accessibility Standard 5568 at Level AA, based on the WCAG 2.1 guidelines. The site is optimized for popular browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 9 and above.
Accessibility Arrangements in the Organization
Information about building accessibility and ways to access our offices:
Our association offices are located in Kibbutz Dorot. For individuals with a disability symbol from the Ministry of Transportation, parking is available free of charge. Accessible parking spaces are situated next to the building, and accessible restrooms are also available. At our internal offices in Kibbutz Karmia, there is free accessible parking, and arrangements can be made in advance to ensure availability.
Accessibility Adjustments Implemented on the Website
We have invested significant resources to ensure our website is easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, based on our strong belief that every individual has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.
