The Eden for life program focuses on beneficial integration into the labor market and into adult life.
It is a new program, launched by the Eden association in collaboration with the 'Yated' program and the National Insurance funds. Its aim is to support young women with post-trauma or lacking family support as they begin their adult life and join the labor market.
Eden for life program is a ten-month program, during which the participants reside at pastoral Kibbutz Dorot, in the Negev region. It offers the girls a rich variety of solutions to their needs, to enable them to benefit from a genuine opportunity for quality employment. Among these are emotion regulation skills according to the DBT method, becoming familiar with gender-based and personal barriers, occupational diagnosis, a digital literacy course, English studies, exhaustion of rights and wise financial conduct, mentoring and job placement and support in the workplace.
As with other Eden programs, in the 'Eden for life' program the Eden model provides training in critical thinking and imparts personal skills that will help the girls overcome difficulties arising from the trauma they had suffered and from various events in their lives.
